Joe Riehl has tracked, baited and guided bear hunts across most of the Northern Minnesota Region for 30 years. As an avid bow hunter he has baited and taken many black bears himself with his bow. He knows what a "bear hunter" needs and expects from a fully guided hunt.

Robert , a Northen Minnesota Native, is familiar with the land and landowners and has a keen sense for bear habitat. Born and raised east of Grygla MN, "Burt" is an intricate partner to BearPaw Guiding. He is no stranger to the Northern backwoods of Zone 12.
Kari, also a partner to Bearpaw Guiding, helps with the daily business and accomodations for our clients, to assure that your stay with us in Northern Minnesota, is what you deserve and expect.

Linda and Joe Carlson supply BearPaw guiding with the quality bulk bait, attractants, and smear baits that we use to attract and hold your trophy bear. Joe has also guided bear hunts in Northern Minnesota for over 30 years. His expertise is unequaled when dealing with problem bears or tracking wounded bears. Linda, of course has a full time job keeping Joe in line!!
